School of Occult Science is an institute dedicated to promote education of Occult science subjects such as Astrology, Tarot, Numerology, Vastu and Palmistry. The School of founded by Sandeep Chopra, who started his journey of Occult Science in 1991 while he was in his engineering college and happen to meet a class mate whose father was an Astrologer well renowned in south India. Sandeep received his first lesson of Astrology from this great astrologer and his guru. This divine knowledge imbibed in his unquenchable thirst which remains unfulfilled till today. Sandeep is and will always remain a seeker of this divine knowledge. Sandeep started making predictions but he felt this will not quench his thirst of knowledge. If he has to gain knowledge, the only way is to spread knowledge and thereby indulge deeper and deeper into this vast ocean of divine knowledge. According to Sandeep, one lifetime is too small to understand fully this divine Vedic subject. School is now devoted to spread this divine Vedic knowledge. Currently we are teaching Astrology, Tarot, Numerology and Vastu. We intend to add more subjects to facilitate one centre for all Occult Subjects.

There is difference in terminologies used in Astronomy and Astrology. In astronomy Sun is not a planet, Moon is satellite of Earth. In Astrology, all heavenly bodies affecting the lives of people on earth are known as Planets. Hence in Astrology even Sun is a planet, Moon is a planet, Rahu and Ketu are also Planets. Rahu and Ketu are no real heavenly bodies but only nodal points. These nodal points also affect us on Earth.
School of Occult Science make its students understand the scientific logic behind each subject. It believes that science is the basis of these subjects. Astrology has been the basis of science for every Occult Subject which in turn is based on pure astronomical calculations. The laws of Astrology has proved to be true by our wise astrologers, over centuries.
At School of Occult Science basic concepts of astrology are taught. The focus is on predictive techniques. Today, astrological software are widely to make horoscopes. As such students do not need to reinvent wheel and learn calculations for making horoscope charts. Anyone desirous of learning calculations are most welcome to learn them through separate modules.

of internet and computers at home. This helps in studying these subjects from
comfort of your home. This facility is only for Astrological classes - Astro
Scholar and Astro Master right now. Other courses will be online soon. While
taking online classes, if any student want to meet teachers and clear their
doubts, they are most welcome to come and visit during weekends with prior
appointments and clear their doubts face to face.
